The aim of the training workshop is to provide knowledge and methods to the participants regarding the challenges from climate change and land-use development on river basin planning and management. Focus will be on hands-on exercises using freely available GIS based software developed in earlier EU projects Forum Skagerrak, RiverLife and Watersketch. The participants will be provided with data. The target group of this workshop is land-use and river basin planners. Experience in GIS is expected.

There is no fee for participation, but participants must pay their own travel and accommodation costs. The number of participants is limited to 20.
Participants are expected to bring their own notebook computer. In addition we recommend that ArcGIS including Spatial Analyst is installed. If you do not have ArcGIS installed, please contact the contact person.
